Govt to grant Gen Z Martyrs’ Welfare Society

KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal has decided to provide a grant to the Gen Z Martyrs’ Welfare Society to support welfare programs for martyrs’ families.

The decision was made during a Cabinet meeting held Monday at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office in Singha Durbar, according to Communications and Information Technology Minister and government spokesperson Jagdish Kharel.

The Cabinet also approved the promotion of Ghanshyam Parajuli to the position of Deputy Auditor General, and Om Bahadur Khadka to the post of Additional Chief Investigation Director at the National Investigation Department.

Additionally, Kul Prasad Neupane was appointed as a member of the management committee tasked with handling assets and liabilities of troubled cooperatives.

The meeting further approved a memorandum of understanding between the Governments of Nepal and Oman, a labor agreement with Israel, and regulations to allow the use of petrol blended with ethanol under the 2082 Forest Third Amendment Rules.
