Govt offices to reduce working hours from today

KATHMANDU: Starting today, government offices will operate on reduced hours.

According to the official schedule for the current fiscal year, offices will now remain open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The timing, effective from Kartik 16 to Magh 15, sets office hours from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Outside this period, offices had been operating until 5:00 PM.

On Fridays, however, the office closing time will remain 3:00 PM.
