Gold stable, silver rises by Rs 130

KATHMANDU: In the local market, gold prices remained steady on Wednesday compared to Tuesday, while silver prices rose by Rs 130 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the prices of one tola of Chhapawal gold and one tola of silver were fixed at Rs 314,800 and Rs 5,715, respectively, as of today.

On Tuesday, one tola of gold and silver was priced at Rs 314,800 and Rs 5,585 respectively.

On Monday, gold traded at Rs 313,500 per tola, and silver at Rs 5,595.

Meanwhile, international markets reported that an ounce of gold was trading at USD 5,180 and an ounce of silver at USD 89.
