Gold & silver prices surge today

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices witnessed a notable increase in the Nepalese market today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold rose to Rs 317,000 per tola on Tuesday, up from Rs 313,200 per tola on Monday, marking a daily jump of Rs 3,800.

Silver also saw an uptick, with its price climbing to Rs 5,720 per tola from Rs 5,410 the previous day, an increase of Rs 310, the association reported.
