Gold, silver prices surge in Nepal; gold hits Rs 2.68 lakh per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold continued to rise in Nepal on Tuesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of standard gold increased by Rs 3,100 per tola.

Gold is now trading at Rs 268,100 per tola, up from Rs 265,000 on Monday.

Silver prices also saw an increase.

Silver, which was priced at Rs 4,685 per tola on Monday, rose to Rs 4,880 per tola on Tuesday, the association reported.
