Gold & silver prices surge again

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices rose in the Nepalese market on Sunday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of Chhapawal increased by Rs 9,500 per tola, reaching Rs 305,000.

On Friday, the price of the same gold was Rs 291,000 per tola.

Silver prices also saw an upward trend.

The price of silver, which was Rs 4,710 per tola on Friday, rose to Rs 5,010 per tola on Sunday.

The association reported that currently, 10 grams of gold is trading at Rs 257,630, while 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 4,295.
