Gold, silver prices surge

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have risen sharply.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, today the price of standard gold increased by Rs 2,800 per tola, reaching Rs 242,300.

Previously, on Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 239,500 per tola.

Silver prices have also seen an increase.

The association reported that silver, which was priced at Rs 3,090 per tola on Tuesday, rose to Rs 3,150 on Wednesday.
