Gold & silver prices rise

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in Nepal saw an increase on Friday, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association.

The price of standard gold rose by Rs 600 per tola, reaching Rs 238,400, up from Rs 237,800 recorded on Thursday.

Similarly, silver prices increased from Rs 3,010 per tola on Thursday to Rs 3,020 per tola on Friday.

The association also reported that the current trading rates for 10 grams of gold and 10 grams of silver are Rs 204,390 and Rs 2,589, respectively.
