Gold, silver prices hit new highs in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices in the Nepalese market reached new record levels on Tuesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of standard gold increased by Rs 300 per tola, reaching Rs 309,300.

On Monday, the price of gold had stood at Rs 309,000 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also rose on Tuesday.

Silver, which was priced at Rs 6,765 per tola on Monday, increased to Rs 6,870 per tola, the association reported.
