Gold, silver prices drop sharply in Nepal

KATHMANDU: The price of gold saw a significant decline in the Nepali market today.

ccording to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold bars fell by Rs 2,900 per tola to Rs 237,000.

On Monday, gold had traded at Rs 239,900 per tola.

Silver prices also declined, dropping from Rs 2,980 per tola on Monday to Rs 2,920 today.

The association further reported that the price of 10 grams of gold is now set at Rs 203,190, while 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 2,503.50.
