KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices fell again in the local market today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs 12,500, settling at Rs 282,000, while silver declined by Rs 355, reaching Rs 4,540 per tola.

Last Friday, gold was priced at Rs 294,500 per tola and silver at Rs 4,895.

The day before, gold had traded at Rs 302,300 per tola and silver at Rs 5,010.

Internationally, gold is currently trading at USD 4,500 per ounce and silver at USD 68 per ounce.
