Gold, silver prices dip today

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver witnessed a minor decline today, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association.

The price of gold dropped by Rs 2,000 per tola, while silver fell by Rs 205 per tola.

Today, the price of one tola of gold stood at Rs 317,000, down from Rs 319,000 yesterday.

Similarly, silver was priced at Rs 5,515 per tola, compared to Rs 5,720 on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, gold and silver prices showed fluctuations in the domestic market.

On Monday, one tola of gold was traded at Rs 313,200, while silver was priced at Rs 5,410 per tola.

Internationally, gold is trading at USD 5,210 per ounce, while silver is valued at USD 88 per ounce, according to global market reports.
