Gold, silver pices drop

KATHMANDU: Gold prices fell in the Nepalese market on Thursday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of Chhapawal gold dropped by Rs 9,500 to settle at Rs 295,200. On Wednesday, gold was priced at Rs 304,700 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also declined.

Silver, which was Rs 5,600 per tola on Wednesday, fell to Rs 4,980 per tola on Thursday, the association reported.

The association added that the current trading prices are Rs 253,850 per 10 grams for gold and Rs 4,270 per 10 grams for silver.
