Gold rises, silver dips

KATHMANDU: On Monday, gold prices in Nepal saw a modest increase while silver edged lower, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.

Gold traded at Rs 309,500 per tola, up Rs 100 from the previous day’s Rs 309,400.

Meanwhile, silver fell by Rs 5, closing at Rs 5,265 per tola, down from Rs 5,270.
