Gold price surges by Rs 5,000

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has jumped by Rs 5,000 per tola compared to Friday.

On Sunday, gold was trading at Rs 286,000 per tola, according to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association.

Meanwhile, silver was exchanged at Rs 4,720 per tola.
