KATHMANDU: The price of gold in Nepal has increased by Rs 3,500 per tola compared to last Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, today the rate of standard gold stands at Rs 316,900 per tola, up from Rs 313,400 on Friday.

Similarly, silver has gained Rs 30 per tola, with today’s price fixed at Rs 5,475, compared to Rs 5,445 on Friday.

On the international market, an ounce of gold is trading at USD 5,170, while the same quantity of silver is priced at USD 85, according to global reports.
