Gold price drops by Rs 4,800 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market fell by Rs 4,800 per tola on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The federation stated that the price of fine gold (hallmarked) has been fixed at Rs 309,400 per tola on Sunday. On Friday, the same gold was traded at Rs 314,200 per tola.

Silver prices also declined. The price of silver has been set at Rs 5,270 per tola on Sunday, down from Rs 5,495 per tola on Friday.

During this period, the price of silver decreased by Rs 225 per tola.
