Gold hits Rs 315,400 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices surged in the Nepalese market on Thursday, following a stable trend on Wednesday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 315,400 per tola, up by Rs 600 from Wednesday’s rate of Rs 314,800 per tola.

Silver also saw an increase, with prices rising to Rs 5,725 per tola, up Rs 10 from Wednesday’s Rs 5,715 per tola.

Gold is currently trading at USD 5,194 per ounce in the international market.
