Gold hits record high in Nepal, surpasses Rs 250,900 per tola

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s gold market reached an all-time high on Thursday, with the price of standard gold touching Rs 250,900 per tola, marking an unprecedented surge.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, this represents a sharp Rs 2,000 increase compared to Wednesday’s rate of Rs 248,900 per tola.

In addition, the price of 10 grams of gold rose to Rs 215,105.

Silver also saw a rise, climbing from Rs 3,240 per tola on Wednesday to Rs 3,275 on Thursday.
