Gold hits record high in Nepal; Silver sees slight drop

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have reached a historic peak today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, the price of one tola of Chhapawal gold is trading at Rs 248,900, up Rs 400 from Tuesday’s rate of Rs 248,500.

Meanwhile, silver prices have declined amid the surge in gold.

Silver, which was priced at Rs 3,325 per tola on Tuesday, has fallen to Rs 3,240, offering some relief to buyers.

The association also reported that the price of 10 grams of gold is Rs 213,390, while 10 grams of silver is priced at Rs 2,778.
