GIBL launches self-service kiosk for account opening
The service has been launched to mark the bank’s 19th anniversary.
KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited has introduced a self-service kiosk facility that allows customers to open bank accounts directly from the bank’s branch, offering a simpler, faster, and more modern banking experience.
The service has been launched to mark the bank’s 19th anniversary.
Customers can now open their accounts at the kiosk located in the bank’s Kamaladi branch in Kathmandu.
During the process, all required details must be provided through the kiosk, and after submitting the necessary documents, customers will receive their account number instantly.
Currently, this service is available only at the Kamaladi branch’s Digital Universe.
Earlier, the bank had offered services such as cash deposits and check deposits through the Digital Universe kiosk.
The bank plans to expand such services to other locations in the future.
