German Ambassador calls on Health Minister Mehta

KATHMANDU: German Ambassador to Nepal Udo Eugen Volz today had a courtesy meeting with Minister for Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta along with Head of South Asia Department and Development of Germany’s Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation, Barbara Schaefer.

Assistant spokesperson in the ministry, Dr Samir Kumar Adhikari informed that the bilateral issues were discussed in the meeting.

According to him, Minister Mehta praised the German government for the infrastructure construction in Nepal’s health sector as well as the support through various projects.

On the occasion, on behalf of the German government, Ambassador Volz expressed his commitment to support the government’s priority areas in the current situation.
