KATHMANDU: Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has said that the Gen Z youth movement has provided the country with a new direction and vision.

Speaking at an event organized by the Higher Education and Secondary School Association Nepal (HISSAN) in Kathmandu on Friday, he stated that the movement has inspired a transformation in teaching and learning, aiming to produce thoughtful, aware, patriotic, and responsible citizens.

Vice President Yadav also highlighted that the movement has offered an opportunity to strengthen democratic values and uphold the spirit of the Constitution.

Emphasizing the need to focus on revised, transformative, and skill-oriented education, he noted that the private sector could play a significant role in this process.

He urged private educational institutions to align their activities with government policies and contribute effectively to advancing the nation’s educational agenda.

He further added that the country expects private educational institutions to support research and innovation while producing knowledge that benefits national development.
