Gen Z campaign at Maitighar demanding assurance of human rights (photos)

KATHMANDU: A peaceful program was held at Maitighar Mandala on Thursday, organized by the National Gen-Z Civil Campaign, demanding the assurance of human rights.
The campaign urged the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to publicly release its report on the Gen-Z movement, stressing the need to safeguard fundamental and civic rights.
The event, held on the occasion of the Commission’s establishment Day, saw participation from people of different age groups, youths, and campaign activists.
Participants displayed banners, pamphlets, and creative materials, calling for stronger protection of human rights and respect for citizens’ freedoms.
Chants were also raised in support of human rights, good governance, social justice, and equality during the demonstration.
