Gandaki Province budget session begins today

KATHMANDU: The budget session of the Gandaki Province Assembly is set to begin today.

According to the Province Assembly Secretariat, the meeting scheduled for 2:00 PM will include the tabling of a proposal for a theoretical discussion on the provincial government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84, informed Secretary Govinda Paudel.

The budget session was called on May 19 by Province Chief Dilliram Bhatta on the recommendation of the Gandaki Provincial Council of Ministers.

Also regarded as the monsoon session, the budget session will feature the presentation of the provincial government’s upcoming fiscal policies, programs, and budget.
