KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has revised fuel prices, reducing petrol and diesel rates while increasing the cost of cooking gas and aviation fuel.
According to the new pricing effective from midnight Friday, petrol has been reduced by Rs 2 per litre and diesel/kerosene by Rs 12 per litre.
With the adjustment, petrol now costs Rs 214.50 per litre and diesel/kerosene Rs 222.50 per litre in first-category areas.
However, the corporation has raised the price of LPG by Rs 150 per cylinder, pushing the cost of a full cylinder to Rs 2,160.
Similarly, aviation fuel prices have also increased, with domestic rates up by Rs 7 per litre and international fuel prices for Kathmandu rising by USD 46 per kilolitre.
