Former Lalitpur-10 Chair, Narsingh Byanjankar, passes away at 82

KATHMANDU: Narsingh Byanjankar, who served as the former Ward Chair of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality Ward No. 10, has passed away at the age of 82.

He breathed his last at Norvic Hospital on Sunday.

Byanjankar held the position of Ward Chair for an impressive 10 consecutive terms starting from 2029 in Lalitpur-10.

However, in the local elections of 2079, he faced defeat against Ravinman Byanjankar.

During that election, Narsingh was surpassed by 282 votes by Nepali Congress candidate Ravinman.

Narsingh secured 543 votes, while Ravinman garnered 825 votes.
