FM Rana Deuba leaves for FAO Conference in Italy

KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has departed for Rome, Italy, to participate in the 44th session of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) Conference, taking place from June 28 to July 4.

During the conference, she is set to deliver speeches at the main sessions as well as engage in various high-level side events.

Leading the Nepali delegation, Dr. Deuba is accompanied by Nepal’s Ambassador to Austria and Permanent Representative to the FAO, along with key officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture and Livestock Development.

After concluding her participation in the FAO conference, the Foreign Minister will continue her visit with investment promotion activities arranged by the Investment Board Nepal in Milan (Italy), followed by Hamburg and Berlin in Germany.

This morning, Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai and other senior officials saw her off at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
