FM Deuba sends Independence Day greetings to India
Minister Deuba emphasized Nepal’s commitment to its long-standing and enduring partnership with India.
KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has conveyed heartfelt greetings to the Government and people of India on the occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day.
Addressing her Indian counterpart Dr. S. Jaishankar via social media platform X, Minister Deuba emphasized Nepal’s commitment to its long-standing and enduring partnership with India.
She expressed confidence in further strengthening bilateral relations and wrote, “On India’s Independence Day, we wish for the continued prosperity, unity, and harmony of the Indian people. May India remain a shining example of democracy and an inspiration to nations across the world.”
Such high-level exchanges of goodwill are expected to further deepen diplomatic and people-to-people ties between Nepal and India.
India celebrates its 79th Independence Day on Friday.
