Film Bill 2081 sent to committee for clause-wise review

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly today unanimously approved the proposal to send the Film Bill, 2081 to the Legislative Management Committee for clause-wise deliberation.

The proposal was presented during the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel.

Earlier in the session, Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal directed the government to implement the suggestions included in the Study Report on Nepal’s Graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) to Developing Nation, 2081 based on the discussions raised by lawmakers and the response provided by the Prime Minister.

The next meeting of the National Assembly is scheduled for 11:15 AM on Friday, 23rd of Shrawan.
