Elderly woman dies in city safari hit in Itahari

KATHMANDU: Punyamaya Kafle, 68, died on the road in Sunsari, Ithari Sub-Metropolitan City-2 Halgadha, after colliding with a Safari No. 1 H 5605 on Sunday morning. She was seriously injured in the accident and died while being treated at Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar.

The safari driver has been detained by police.

The police are carrying out the necessary investigations into the accident.
