KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Sunil Sharma has extended financial assistance to Bhim Bahadur Magar, a disadvantaged resident of the squatter settlement in Sundarharaicha Municipality–11, Morang.

Magar, who has been battling cancer for the past several months, had been unable to continue his treatment due to financial constraints.

Upon receiving information about his deteriorating condition, former Member of Parliament Dr. Sharma visited the settlement on Thursday to assess Magar’s health status firsthand.

During the visit, Dr. Sharma pledged full support for Magar’s treatment and immediate needs.

He directed Jay Rai, an employee of Nobel Medical College, to ensure free accommodation, medical care, and all necessary facilities for the patient without delay.

Dr. Sharma’s initiative has offered hope to Magar and his family, who had been struggling to manage treatment costs amidst difficult circumstances.
