Dr. Karki resigns, calls parliament a puppet of criminal govt

KATHMANDU: Dr. Toshima Karki, a Member of Parliament from Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has officially resigned from her parliamentary position.

In her resignation statement, she declared that she can no longer remain a member of a legislature that has become a mere puppet of a criminal and insensitive government.

Dr. Karki criticized the Parliament for failing to uphold justice and represent the voices of the people, expressing her unwillingness to be part of an institution that disregards accountability and public welfare.
