His departure has left a void not just in cinema, but in the hearts of millions who grew up watching him.

And among the many mourning him, Amitabh Bachchan’s tribute stands out as an emotional farewell to a co-star, a brother, and a dear friend.

A Final Goodbye at the Crematorium

Amitabh Bachchan’s Emotional Tribute

He continued, calling Dharmendra “the epitome of greatness”, noting that his legacy was tied not only to his towering physical presence but also to “the largeness of his heart , and its most endearing simplicity.”

He further wrote, “un soiled throughout his glorious career , in a fraternity that witnessed changes every decade .. the frantic fraternity underwent changes .. not him.”

In another heartfelt note, Amitabh added: “His smile, his charm and his warmth , extending to all that came in his vicinity .. a rarity in the profession, the air about us swings vacant, a vacuum that shall ever remain vacuus.. prayers”

A Legacy That Lives On

Dharmendra’s last film, Ikkis, stars Agastya Nanda along with Jaideep Ahlawat and is all set to release this Christmas, a final reminder of the icon’s enduring magic.
