KATHMANDU: The Postal Service Department has unveiled a commemorative postal stamp in honor of late social worker Om Prakash Goyal.

Deputy Speaker Indira Rana and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel handed over the first-day cover during the event.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Kharel called the stamp release a historic moment, saying it ensures Goyal’s legacy remains immortal. “A person lives forever through their deeds. Today, Om Prakash Goyal becomes immortal through this postal stamp,” he said.
He added that honoring Goyal is a tribute that the nation itself must uphold, emphasizing the lasting impact of his service to society.
