Dang–Kathmandu bus crash injures 38 (list of injured included)

KATHMANDU: A passenger bus traveling from Dang to Kathmandu met with an accident early Friday morning along the Narayanghat–Muglin road section in Chitwan, leaving 38 people injured.

The bus bearing registration number Lumbini Province 02-001 Kha 0460 overturned at around 3:10 am at Ghumaune area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City–29, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

Police said the bus went out of control on its own and overturned on the road.

Among the injured, 10 passengers are in moderate condition, while 28 sustained minor injuries.

All the injured are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals in Bharatpur and Muglin.
