He also revealed that the party is preparing to strengthen youth representation in its central committee.
KATHMANDU: Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party, has announced that the party will prioritize youth candidates in the upcoming elections.
Speaking at the “Gen Z Awakening and Cultural Program” organized by Gen Z Red Force on Sunday, Dahal said the party plans to field young candidates both in proportional representation lists and direct elections, emphasizing opportunities for the Gen Z generation.
He also revealed that the party is preparing to strengthen youth representation in its central committee.
Dahal further stated that the Gen Z Red Force will be recognized as a fraternal organization of the party and instructed such groups to organize programs in the spirit of the Nepal Communist Party rather than following the old Maoist style.
He stressed that the focus should now be on the spirit of the Nepal Communist Party, not on past Maoist approaches.
