Cousin stabs man to death in Dharan
His body has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for a postmortem examination.
KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old man was fatally stabbed by his cousin in Dharan’s Punya Marg area on Tuesday evening.
The victim, Rupak Rai, died at the scene from multiple stab wounds, police said.
The incident occurred around 6:30 pm, and the alleged assailant, 33-year-old Rabin Rai, was taken into police custody for further investigation.
DSP Bishan Babu Rai of the Dharan Police Station reported that Rupak sustained severe injuries to various parts of his body.

Authorities have not yet determined the exact cause of the dispute between the two cousins.
Police are conducting detailed investigations, including collecting statements, gathering evidence, and examining the family background, to establish the motive behind the attack.
