Cooperative victims stage protest demanding return of savings (photos)

KATHMANDU: Cooperative victims demanding justice staged a sit-in at the Department of Cooperatives in Budhanagar, Kathmandu, on Friday.

The protesters urged the government to immediately return their deposited savings, expressing frustration over the lack of progress in refunding cooperative members’ funds.

During the demonstration, they raised slogans such as “Return our savings now” and “The public must not be harmed,” while calling for unity among all affected cooperative members.
