KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has stated that he remains positive about the demand raised by the Congress.

In a discussion held this morning with Congress leaders, Deputy Prime Minister Gagan Thapa and Chief Secretary Ramesh Lekhak, Prime Minister Prachanda expressed his commitment to resolving the issues.

According to the Chief Secretary Lekhak, during the discussion, Prime Minister Prachanda requested not to obstruct the presentation of policies and programs by the President in the parliamentary session and urged cooperation from Congress leaders.

Congress leaders mentioned that there is currently a meeting of the parliamentary party and in that meeting, they discussed the commitment of the Prime Minister.

The decisions made in the meeting will be made public, as informed by the party leader Lekhak. “The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to not obstructing policies and programs and to running the parliament smoothly, and he also mentioned initiating and committing to solving cooperative problems,” said Lekhak after the meeting. “He will discuss the proposals he has put forward in our party meeting, and decisions will be made from there.”
