CoAS National Tennis Tournament 2082 kicks off
The competition will run until Baisakh 28.
KATHMANDU: The Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) National Tennis Tournament 2082 officially commenced today at the Army Headquarters, Jangi Adda premises in Kathmandu.
The tournament was inaugurated by Lieutenant General Nirmal Kumar Thapa, who handed over the ball to the referee to mark the beginning of the event.
Organized under the direction of the Directorate of Military Training, the third edition of the tournament features a total of 196 players, including 15 women, competing across 14 categories.
The competition will run until Baisakh 28.
Players from nine different clubs are participating in this year’s event.
The tournament aims to enhance players’ skills, techniques, and overall capabilities, with a long-term goal of nurturing and producing top-level athletes in the sport.
