KATHMANDU: Manchester City and Chelsea played out a 1–1 draw in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium, with Enzo Fernández scoring a dramatic late equaliser to rescue a point for the visitors.

City took the lead just before half-time through Tijjani Reijnders and went on to create several chances in the second half but failed to extend their advantage.

Chelsea kept pushing and were rewarded deep into stoppage time when Fernández struck from close range in the fourth minute of injury time to level the match.

The result lifts Manchester City to second place in the table, though they remain six points behind leaders Arsenal. Chelsea move up to fifth.

Liverpool Also Stalled

Liverpool were also forced to settle for a draw, sharing points in a thrilling 2–2 contest against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

Fulham went ahead in the first half through Harry Wilson, before Liverpool responded with an equaliser from Florian Wirtz.

As the match neared its end, Cody Gakpo scored in the fourth minute of stoppage time, seemingly handing Liverpool all three points.

However, Fulham struck back almost immediately, with Harrison Reed unleashing a powerful long-range effort just three minutes later to make it 2–2 and deny Liverpool victory.

Liverpool remain fourth in the standings with 34 points, while Fulham climb to 11th place on goal difference.
