Chitwan Rhinos’ Rijan Dhakal penalized for code of conduct breach

KATHMANDU: Chitwan Rhinos’ bowler Rijan Dhakal has been sanctioned for violating the Nepal Premier League (NPL) code of conduct.

The incident occurred during the match against Lumbini Lions when Dhakal expressed dissatisfaction with an umpire’s decision after a LBW appeal was turned down.

The NPL categorized the act as a Level-1 offense, and Dhakal has accepted the charge and agreed to the proposed penalty.

He received a warning along with 1 demerit point.

Chitwan Rhinos lost the match by six wickets.
