KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the national squad for the upcoming T20 International series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The matches are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

CAN has named a 15-member squad under the captaincy of Dipendra Singh Airee, while regular skipper Rohit Paudel has not been included in the T20I side this time.

Kushal Malla and Arjun Saud have made a return to the squad. Malla last featured in the T20 World Cup Asia Qualifiers, while Saud played his previous T20I in 2022 against Kenya.

Meanwhile, Santosh Yadav and Hemant Dhami have earned their maiden call-ups to the T20I team, although both are yet to make their international debuts.

CAN also confirmed that while Airee will lead the T20I side, Rohit Paudel will continue to captain Nepal’s ODI team.
