Cabinet meeting underway at PM’s residence

KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal is holding a cabinet meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, the meeting, called by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, is reviewing the regular agenda as well as recent developments related to the Gen Z protests and associated violent incidents.

Earlier, a National Security Council meeting was held, during which Prime Minister Oli discussed the latest security situation with relevant ministers and heads of security agencies.
