KATHMANDU: Bayern Munich moved to the brink of the Bundesliga title with a commanding 5-0 victory over FC St. Pauli.

The hosts dominated the second half, adding four more goals in a relentless display. Leon Goretzka doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute with a superb volley, before setting up Michael Olise just a minute later to make it 3-0.

Nicolas Jackson extended the lead in the 65th minute after a fine assist from Musiala, and later turned provider for Raphaël Guerreiro, who sealed the emphatic win with Bayern’s fifth goal in the 88th minute.

The victory sees Bayern maintain a 12-point lead at the top of the table. With five matches remaining, they now need just four more points to secure the title. The Bavarian giants have also set a new league milestone this season, scoring a remarkable 105 goals.
