Atletico Madrid, currently third in the league, had taken a commanding 2-0 lead with goals from Leon Alvarez in the 45th minute and Alexander Sorloth in the 70th. However, Barcelona quickly responded. Just two minutes after Sorloth’s goal, Robert Lewandowski pulled one back for Barcelona, reducing the deficit to 2-1. In the 78th minute, Ferran Torres scored to level the match at 2-2.

The game took a dramatic turn during injury time, as Barcelona netted two more goals to seal the win. Lamine Yamal scored in the second minute of injury time, and Torres added another in the eighth minute of injury time to complete the comeback.

With this victory, Barcelona now has 60 points from 27 matches, moving ahead of Real Madrid on head-to-head record despite having played one game less. Atletico Madrid remains third with 56 points from 28 matches.
