Balen Shah intensifies campaign ahead of March 5 elections (photos)

KATHMANDU: As the March 5 House of Representatives elections draw near, senior leader Balen Shah of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has intensified his campaign efforts.

On Thursday, he reached Ilam to boost support for his party’s candidates and engage directly with voters.

Upon reaching Ilam, Shah launched a door-to-door outreach program, interacting with residents from the main markets to remote villages.

Earlier, on Tuesday, he had filed his candidacy in Jhapa-5 and spent Wednesday meeting voters across various neighborhoods in the district.

After concluding his campaign in Jhapa, Shah has now shifted focus to Ilam to continue mobilizing voter support ahead of the elections.
