Ather Rizta S launched in Nepal by Vaidya Energy

KATHMANDU: Vaidya Energy, the official distributor of Ather Energy in Nepal, has announced the launch of its new electric scooter, Ather Rizta S.
This model is an upgraded version of last year’s Rizta Z, featuring enhanced performance and design.

Alongside the Rizta S, Ather has introduced the Ather Assurance Package, aimed at simplifying EV ownership by integrating battery reliability, charging access, and overall ownership costs into a single comprehensive plan.
At the launch event, Suryansh Vaidya, CEO of Vaidya Energy, stated, “The Rizta S is designed to make electric mobility simple, practical, and accessible for every Nepali household. Its unique design, reliable performance, and the Ather Assurance Package address the real concerns customers face when switching to electric vehicles. We believe this will play a key role in accelerating EV adoption across the country.”

Key Features of Ather Rizta S:
- Battery & Range: 2.7 kWh battery, 123 km IDC range
- Power & Speed: 4.3 kW peak power, top speed 80 km/h, 0–40 km/h in 4.7 seconds
- Design: Spacious seat, wide footboard, large storage capacity
- Safety: Auto hold, fail-safe, emergency stop signal
- Warranty: 3 years or 30,000 km, extendable up to 5 years or 60,000 km

Ather has already installed 35 public fast chargers across Nepal, making long trips like Kathmandu–Pokhara and Kathmandu–Chitwan feasible. Customers will also enjoy free charging for the first year.
Service support is available at 10 Ather Experience Centres across Nepal, and for a limited period, customers can avail 20% discount on annual maintenance contracts.

The Ather Rizta S is priced at Rs 294,900, with an early-bird offer of Rs 274,999 for the first 150 customers. This discount can be availed through cash payment, exchange benefits, or 0% interest financing options.
The scooter is now available for booking and delivery at all Ather Experience Centres across Nepal.
