KATHMANDU: Premier League leaders Arsenal missed a golden opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table after being held to a dramatic 2–2 draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners made a flying start as Bukayo Saka opened the scoring inside five minutes with a composed finish.

Arsenal doubled their advantage in the 56th minute when Piero Hincapié found the net, putting the hosts firmly in control.

However, Wolves refused to go down without a fight. Hugo Bueno pulled one back just five minutes later to reignite the contest.

Deep into stoppage time, debutant Tom Edozie struck a low effort that deflected off defender Riccardo Calafiori, wrong-footing the goalkeeper and sealing a dramatic late equaliser.

The result means Arsenal missed the chance to stretch their lead at the summit to seven points.

With 58 points, they remain five clear of second-placed Manchester City, keeping the Premier League title race wide open.
